Marble

The oldest and most noble stone of all time. Marble is a metamorphic rock composed of recrystallized carbonate minerals, most commonly calcite or dolomite. It is typically not foliated, although there are exceptions.
Marble is commonly used for sculpture, as a building material, and for home/kitchen applications.
