Very Peri: Pantone’s 2022 color is already in our routine

A trend that can be found on our own stones or through matching them

For some business sectors, the year only starts when the Pantone Institute releases “the color of the year”. As a company with direct connections to home design, decoration, building and renovation, we strongly believe that it is our duty to update you with all the new market trends.

Going in a completely different direction of what the experts were speculating about (green), Very Peri – the Pantone’s color of the year 2022 – is a beautiful purple-blue hue that reminds us about some past colors: Classic Blue (2020), Ultra Violet (2018) and Blue Iris (2008). “As we move into a world of unprecedented change, the selection of Pantone 17-3938 Very Peri brings a novel perspective and vision of the trusted and beloved blue color family,” Pantone Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman, declared on its launch.

As the architectural color specialist and design writer, Jennifer Ott, wrote in her Houzz article, “Very Peri was selected for its blending of the faithfulness and constancy of classic blue with the energy and excitement of red”. This periwinkle blue can be used indoor, outdoor or on decoration, you just need to find the best way to do it.

Nature is the primary designer and regardless of the name humans pick for a color, these tones can already be found on natural artworks. It couldn’t be any different with stones. There are several possible combinations with our ornamental stones and the 2022 color. Also, you can find this hue on it as well. To make a long story short: nature never ceases to amaze us.

Here are some of our stones that you can find this hue on: Circo White, Michelangelo Prime and Cappuccino marbles, and Ijen Blue quartzite.

But let us help you out with some stones matching ideas: Azzurra Bay, Naica Blue and Bianco Superiore quartzites; Milano, Bianco Impala and Valentino marbles.
