ENVIRONMENT

Starting with the environment, we have implemented several initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainable development.

Our water reuse program helps to conserve water and reduce waste, while our reforestation program helps to promote biodiversity and combat deforestation.

SOLAR ENERGY

We have implemented the use of solar energy, which helps reduce our carbon footprint. Our solar energy plant is the biggest panel installation on rooftops in our state, Espírito Santo. 

There are 4.440 panels, covering a total area of 11.350 square meters, with a potency of 2.400 kWp.

This huge investment will allow us to consume 60% of our energy through this renewable source. Apart from the solar panels installed in the roof of the industry, the roof itself has also been remodeled to allow for more comfortable working conditions, giving greater acoustic and thermal insulation.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Without people, our company wouldn’t be the great potency it is during all these years. Therefore, Zucchi provides employment opportunities to local residents, offering them the chance to improve their economic well-being and support their families. 

Besides that, there are offers of annual training programs for teenagers, conferring skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their future careers.

ENGAGEMENT IN THE COMMUNITY

Understanding the importance of cultural traditions and community, we support local holidays such as Children’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day, and Mother’s Day. We also assist in the form of a basket of goods during the holiday season to help families in need based around our factory, bringing joy and cheer during the festive season.
